Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERTHA (ALBERTINE) KROCHENSKI Passed away peacefully Sunday, August 31, 2003 at Jocelyn House at the age of 80. Bertha was predeceased by her husband Ben of 40 years whom she constantly talked of and two sisters, Jean and Sydney. She leaves to mourn her passing her sons, Jim (June), Ken (Kathy), Rodney (Karen) grandchildren, Robert, David, Kyle, Kari, Bradley and Cheryl; great-granddaughter Chelsea; sisters, Mary and Rose; and many relatives and friends. She loved to travel with her husband and family and in the latter years with her sister Mary. She loved to work with her hands and was known for her knitting. She was very active in the Lions Place Adult Day Club where she made many friends. Many thanks go out to Jocelyn House where they did their utmost to give her reassurance and peacefulness in her last days. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 4 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St. Interment at Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, it is gratefully requested that a charitable donation be given to Jocelyn House, 177 Egerton Rd., Winnipeg, R2M 2W7.
